This unique porcelain serving piece is from my Whirls collection. Hand thrown on the wheel, then altered. Covered in a glossy, clear glaze, the piece measures approximately 11.25”W x 2.25”H. The cupped portion is completely sealed, so it’s great for dip or salsa. Holds about 1/2 – 3/4 cup. Food safe, hand wash.

All Kim Westad pieces are made individually without any molds or templates, so each piece will vary slightly from one another.

This totally unique serving piece is from the Whirls collection. Made on the wheel, thrown then altered using fine porcelain. This one was designed with antipasti in mind.

The entire piece is covered in a clear, food safe glaze and measures approximately 9.75″ W x 2.25″ H. Its beautiful form and unique design makes it perfect for serving your favorite hors d’oeuvres. The circle in the center is completely closed off, so it’s also great for chips and dip. Food safe, though I recommend hand washing. Use it, then display it for a conversation piece. Please note, the photo with the food display is another, smaller Whirl, though this Whirl functions the same way.

This totally unique serving piece is from the Whirls collection. Made on the wheel, thrown then altered using porcelain. This one was designed with olives in mind – one vessel to keep olives and pits separate. The rim is hand pained in orange, red, green or blue (see Whirl bowls for colors) which beautifully accents the design, while the entire piece is covered in a clear, food safe glaze.

Also great for shelled nuts, and since the “cupped” part of this Whirl is completely sealed, it will also work well with non-solid foods. Use it, then display it for a conversation piece. Measures approximately 7.5”W x 2”H with the cupped portion measuring approximately 6″W. Dishwasher safe.

This is one of Kim’s signature designs. Whirls are made on the wheel – thrown then altered using porcelain. They have a hand painted red, green or orange rim which beautifully accents the design. The entire bowl is covered in a glossy clear food safe glaze and measures approximately 5.5″W x 2.5″H. They hold about 1 cup. They make great small serving pieces as well as a fun bowl for your morning cereal. Dishwasher safe.

The design is comprised of individually applied slip dots which are slightly raised above the surface. This gives the cups a nice, tactile quality. They’re covered inside and out with a food safe, glossy clear glaze, measure approximately 4″W x 4.25″H and hold about 12 oz. Dishwasher safe.
